Nick Bowen
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Mr Bowen joined the Board as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in February 2000. He has 26 years experience in the contracting industry. His experience covers open cut mining, underground mining and civil engineering in Australia and overseas.

Mr Bowen is currently a member of the Executive Council of the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA (appointed 2001) and a Director of the Australian Constructors Association Limited (appointed February 2000).

Ross Carroll
Chief Financial Officer and Director International Mining

Mr Carroll joined Macmahon in 2006 bringing with him more than 20 years experience in oil and gas, mining and agribusiness, including 18 years with BHPB.

Prior to his appointment as CFO of Macmahon, Mr Carroll was CFO of Woodside. Mr Carroll’s previous roles with BHPB included Iron Ore (Vice President Commercial) and Petroleum (Vice President Finance and Planning Americas).

Pat Doyle 
Executive General Manager - Construction

Mr Doyle joined Macmahon with more than 29 years experience in the construction industry working on major engineering projects for some of Australia’s leading companies. 

His first role was with John Holland Construction in 1979, before he spent 15 years as Construction Manager and Project Director with Leighton Contractors.  Mr Doyle moved on to Baulderstone Hornibrook where he became Executive Director Civil Engineering.

Most recently, Mr Doyle was Executive General Manager Major Projects of John Holland Group. 

Neil Wilson
Executive General Manager - Services

Mr Wilson is an experienced Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality professional with 12 years operational experience and 10 years consultative experience in national and international mining, exploration, and manufacturing and construction industries.

He has held a number of group safety related positions with Rio Tinto in Africa and consultancy roles with CRA in Australia.

Fraser Ramsay
Executive General Manager - Surface Mining  

Mr Ramsay joined Macmahon in 2005 and has over 21 years experience in the construction industry, predominately working on major engineering projects.

Prior to joining Macmahon as Construction Manager, Mr Ramsay held positions with Leighton Contractors and Transfield Services. Most recently, Mr Ramsay was Alliance Manager for the Coal Stream Alliance that delivered Queensland’s largest ever coal rail infrastructure project.

Stewart Maddison
General Manager - Plant 

Mr Maddison joined Macmahon in 2000 has more than 30 years experience in the resources sector. Prior to Macmahon Mr Maddison held a number of maintenance management roles at BHP Billiton Iron Ore, before joining Henry Walker Eltin.

Mr Maddison’s initial role at Macmahon was as a General Manager, starting the Company’s Allplant equipment hire business. Mr Maddison’s current role sees him responsible for the management of Macmahon’s plant and equipment fleet.

Greg Miller
General Manager - Underground Mining 

Mr Miller has more than 15 years experience in underground mining in Australia, with over nine of those years in management roles.

Working at Macmahon since 1996, Mr Miller has previously held a number of Project Manager roles across Australia.

Diane Jaksa
Group General Manager - People Organisational Development

Ms Jaksa has been with Macmahon for almost two years and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Human Resources sector.

Ms Jaksa has more than ten years experience in the Human Resources sector in the oil and gas industry, both overseas and domestically. Prior to her work in the oil and gas sector, Ms Jaksa spent a number of years in the manufacturing industry, leading organisational change.
