Macmahon's environmental policy objective is to minimise the adverse impact on the environment as a result of its business activities.
To achieve this objective Macmahon:
- Maintains an Environmental Management System in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 14001.
- Complies with contract conditions, relevant legislation and other criteria to which the company subscribes.
- Regularly reviews business operations, identifies and implements opportunities for improvement.
- Educates its workforce of key environmental issues, management controls and associated responsibilities.
- Has defined environmental objectives and targets to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strives at all times to prevent pollution and reduce waste and commits to recovery and recycling where feasible.
Macmahon has received several environmental awards which serve to highlight the company's ongoing work towards minimising the footprint it leaves behind.

Quality
Macmahon's quality objective is to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations in a pro-active, professional and cost-effective manner.
To achieve this objective Macmahon:
- Maintains a Quality Management System in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001.
- Sets objectives and targets to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provides adequate resources to continually review and improve its business processes.
- Encourages all people to integrate quality management into the way they work and promotes its application as a method for continual improvement within their area of responsibility.
- Actively seeks performance feedback from customers and addresses opportunities for improvement that are identified.
