The World's Most Powerful Raisedrill - RBR 900VF

Having established itself as an industry leader in the field of raisedrilling, Macmahon recently announced that purchase of the world's most powerful raisedrilling machine, the RBR 900VF.

Boasting a continuous operating torque of 900 kNm (approx 670,000 ft-lbs) and a thrust capacity of 22,000 kN (approx 5,000,000 lbs), the machine is nearly 50 per cent larger than any existing raisedrill.

Macmahon made the decision to purchase the RBR 900VF rig after recording significant growth in inquiries from operating mines seeking large diameter, deep shafts both in Australia and internationally.
