Macmahon sadly confirms that a fatal incident occurred at the Byerwen mine site in Queensland today.
The site emergency response team has been activated and we are working with our client and all relevant authorities.
Counselling has been made available and our focus is to provide support to family, friends and colleagues. We are committed to thoroughly investigating this incident.
