Joining Macmahon in January 2016 as a Plant Administrator / Cost Control Supervisor, Theresia quickly moved into her current role with the support of specific training. Theresia appreciates the high level of teamwork demonstrated on site and the clear and constant communication between everyone which makes for a positive and enjoyable environment to work in. “Since I joined Macmahon, one of the main things I’ve learned is that taking extra care and following safe work practices is vital to the success of a project,” shared Theresia.
Mentors provide a strong support for Theresia on a daily basis. “Paul Tulloch helps me with our online asset management system, Mainpac, and Mark Hatfield, my direct manager, is always available for any other assistance I need,” said Theresia. “The most important value I’ve learned from both Paul and Mark is teamwork. By working hard and working together we can solve any problem that arises and I am confident there is always help available.”
After work Theresia enjoys going to the gym near the site camp with work friends and looks forward to holidays with her family. “Working FIFO on a 4/2 roster provides me with flexibility to plan frequent holidays that a normal working week job wouldn’t allow, which I really value,” said Theresia.
