Respectful and inclusive workplace
Creating an inclusive and respectful workplace for everyone is paramount to the success of Macmahon's business. Strengthening this is a focus area for Macmahon with implementation of a revised DEI framework to engage and raise awareness with both internal and external stakeholders.
Macmahon actively encourages the employment of Indigenous Australians. We work with our clients to provide opportunities for Indigenous participation in our projects with a commitment to continue increasing representation across our operations.

Our Approach
Working to bridge the gap
Our strategy is to achieve a more inclusive and diverse workplace by:
- Promoting Macmahon diversity initiatives
- Respecting difference and maintaining a workplace that is free from unfair discrimination
- Behaving in a way that is consistent with the values and spirit of the company’s Diversity and Inclusion policy
I am excited to be joining Macmahon as part of their trainee dump truck operator program and as a Yamatji Wongi woman, I hope to inspire other Indigenous women to reap the benefits of a career in mining.
