At Macmahon, we are committed to making a positive difference in the communities where we live and work.

Through the Macmahon Foundation, we provide grants of up to $10,000 to support projects that create lasting impact. Eligible initiatives include those led by not-for-profit organisations, community groups, and local programs that align with our focus areas:

We are proud to partner with communities across regional Australia and Southeast Asia to create healthier, safer, and more sustainable futures. Our focus is on reducing disadvantage and improving access to education, health services, and local employment pathways, particularly in remote areas connected to our operations.

The Foundation is overseen by a steering committee made up of senior leaders from Macmahon and subject matter experts. It is managed by the Communications Manager and funded annually through company profits.

  • Donated over $1 million to The Harry Perkins Cancer Institute since 2018.
  • Strong Minds, Strong Mines wellness program supports Macmahon’s Australian workforce and the broader resources industry with its 8-month mental, physical and social health program.
  • Strong Minds, Strong Schools – supporting student wellbeing in local and regional Western Australia.
  • Funded mobile health clinics and education programs through the QCoal Foundation since 2019.
  • Supported young girls and women at the Perth Football Club since 2023.
