Where do I go to view and apply for roles?

Visit our careers page and click on the job opportunities blue button. Search via keyword (job title) or location in the relevant fields and click on the blue ‘SEARCH JOBS’ button. You can scroll through all our jobs from here.

I am having problems with the job search.

Clear the search field and make sure any keywords are not too specific. If there are no jobs listed, it is possible that none match your search. Try searching again with fewer keywords.

Can I apply by post, email, Facebook or WhatsApp instead?

No, sorry. You will need to apply online.

I'm a qualified international tradesperson. Can I apply for jobs in Australia?

Macmahon considers sponsorship applications from qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics from South Africa or Zimbabwe to live and work in Australia. Search 'Africa' from the careers page/job opportunity button and apply accordingly.

I did not see a position I am interested in.

You can always join our talent network and register for our programs. Go to the Programs page and select the program you are interested in. Select the Register Now button and fill in the fields with your information and select submit.

What does the employment screening involve?

Employment screening checks are determined by the role and location, and could include identity, eligibility to work, qualifications, references and employment medicals. Additional checks including credit and criminal records are required for roles which pose greater legal, financial and reputational risk. I don’t have experience but am keen to work on the mines. How do I get a job?

Macmahon runs regular intakes for trainee dump truck operators. Keep an eye out on our jobs page, sign up for alerts and register for our trainee program on the Trainee page of our website. Also read up on what we look for in a new employee on Careers page.

I’ve applied for a role but haven’t heard back?

We often receive large volumes of enquiries for jobs and unfortunately, we are unable to respond personally to all applications. You will receive a notification that your application has been received and if you are successful, you will be contacted to advise the next steps in the recruitment process.
