Building Diverse Leadership
The Multicultural Professional Network

Through the Macmahon Foundation Grants Program, Macmahon supported the Multicultural Network’s Leadership for Impact Program, helping emerging leaders from multicultural and First Nations backgrounds build the skills and confidence to pursue leadership and board opportunities.

With a strong presence in Queensland and projects across the state, Macmahon is committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the communities where its people live and work.

Delivered in Brisbane in April 2026, the program combined practical governance training, mentoring and peer learning to address barriers to leadership pathways.

Participants gained a stronger understanding of board responsibilities, increased confidence in their leadership capability and greater clarity about the steps needed to progress into governance roles.

The initiative complements Macmahon’s own Emerging Leaders Program which supports the growth of future leaders in our business and reflects our commitment to developing future leaders both within our workforce and the communities where we operate.

By investing in leadership development, the Macmahon Foundation is helping build more inclusive communities and creating lasting social value beyond its project sites.
