Phoebe has always worked in our safety team and started her career at Macmahon as a HSEQ Advisor supporting the company’s domestic surface operations. She has worked with various operations and project start-ups during her tenure, including our international operations in Indonesia.
Over the years, Phoebe’s experience has shaped and expanded her skill set, elevating her to a Superintendent role where she oversees the review, development and implementation of Macmahon’s Integrated Management System that supports the company’s strategic plan.
Working closely with her team and being responsible for internal audits, Phoebe loves working on developing new programs, initiatives and resources that assist leaders to increase their safety knowledge.
I am really proud of the operating projects I have assisted in starting up. It’s amazing to see how far they had come when there was only a paddock in the beginning.”
Phoebe thrives with variety and loves the people she works with.

Maintaining robust safety systems is vital to Macmahon’s business, and Phoebe relies on her approachable, open and honest leadership style to positively influence all levels of people in our business.
Whilst a 10 year career is one to be proud of, Phoebe recognises that she’s always continually learning.

When asked about a favourite story to share, Phoebe said there were too many to name just one and said there are always lots of laughs!
Phoebe’s recently returned from maternity leave and, as a first-time Mum she cherishes her evenings and weekends with her husband and son. Life is a whole lot different these days, but she wouldn’t have it any other way!
